The U.S Government is committing Genocide

That never stopped the colonists from trying to whitewash their own history and erase PoC from their historical records.
If being willing to recognize past mistakes and get better in the future, ie not redo the same mistakes and correct mistakes that have been made, is not enough, then what is?

Can't change the past, can only recognize the mistakes of the past and present and try to get better in the future, if there is real will.
This is often said as though these events are in the past, when in reality these genocides are still happening as we speak.

The mistakes are still being made, and reparations are often being put aside for corporate interests, genocide and oppression of minorities is still going on, systematic racism is still a thing. What in Loki's name are you even talking about!?

I'm talking about the fact that we need to change that, to stop repeating the same mistakes, rein in the greedy corporations, repair as much of the damage that was done as possible and get this whole world to move towards a kind of civilization that is accepting and respectful and gives the same rights to every human being on this planet.

What in Loki's name did you think I was talking about !?
